A PADI IDC Staff Instructor will assist PADI Course Directors teaching candidates or teach most of the Instructor Development Course (IDC) by themselves. IDC Staff instructors can teach the whole PADI Assistant Instructor which prepares the candidates for the Instructor Examination (IE).

PADI IDC Staff Instructors shape the future PADI professionals being role models in diving. Their extensive knowledge of teaching techniques, standards, equipment and their polished skills in the water makes them sought after professionals in the diving industry.

What you will learn

You will learn how to review classroom and pool presentations from the candidates but also how to prepare, present and teach the PADI Assistant Instructor course.

Who can take the course?

Any PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers who can demonstrate their knowledge of diving through theory tests, pool demonstrations and open water evaluations.
